Introduction
Journey into Chinese Culture and History (華夏歷史文化尋根之旅) is the signature programme under the Tan Siu Lin Education Fund. This initiative invites overseas Chinese students currently studying at universities in Hong Kong to embark on an immersive visit to mainland China, where they will explore historical sites, cultural landmarks, and centers of intangible cultural heritage. Through direct engagement and meaningful exchanges with local institutions, participants will deepen their understanding of Chinese history and culture, as well as strengthen their cultural identity and their pride as an ethnic Chinese.
The tour will be organized on an inter-university basis, involving students from various universities or institutions in Hong Kong. It offers participants an immersive cultural experience, as well as fosters meaningful interaction among students from different institutions.
